Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using Gridberry ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

What the Service does

Gridberry is a browser-based tool that converts CSV or Excel data into print-ready PDF files formatted for Avery-compatible label and badge stock. The Service is provided on an as-is, as-available basis.

Acceptable use

You may use Gridberry only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Upload data that contains personal information of individuals without their consent.
• Use the Service to produce fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal materials.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of any data, images, or files you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process and store it solely to provide the Service. We don't claim ownership of your content, and we don't use it for any purpose beyond rendering your PDF.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you provide, including personal data belonging to third parties (e.g. attendee names on a badge list).

Payments and refunds

Paid exports are a one-time purchase per session. Payments are processed by Stripe. If your PDF fails to generate due to a Service error, contact us and we'll issue a full refund. We don't offer refunds for PDFs that were successfully generated.

Pricing is shown in USD and may change at any time. Changes do not affect existing sessions for which payment has already been made.

Free tier

The first 50 badges in any session are always available as a watermarked PDF, no account or payment required. The free tier is intended for evaluation. We reserve the right to adjust the free tier limits at any time.

Intellectual property

Gridberry, its design, code, and copy are our intellectual property. Avery® is a registered trademark of CCL Label, Inc. Gridberry is not affiliated with or endorsed by Avery. Template dimensions are provided for compatibility purposes only.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of output dimensions. Print results depend on your printer settings and media. We are not responsible for print costs incurred due to incorrect output.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session giving rise to the claim.

Data retention and deletion

Session data (your uploaded spreadsheet and field mappings) is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Generated PDFs are deleted after 7 days. We don't retain data beyond these periods. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
